Stelos Leaders Scholarship Recipients

Meet the five recipients of the 2023 Stelos Leadership Scholarship.

Chinelo Ejiofor is a senior majoring in Health Sciences and a minor in Business. She is a member of the Honors College and is the president of Phi Eta Sigma National Honors Organization. This organization helps organize Bobcat Build and the public library cleanup. As the treasurer and public relations officer for the Black Health Professional organization, Chinelo is well on her way to becoming an exceptional nurse.


Parker Reed is a junior majoring in Theatre with a minor in Music. With a 4.0 GPA, Parker excels in school and extracurriculars. She is a member of Texas All-State Choir, president of Thespian Troupe 549, and is the student choir director at Copperas Cove High School. She also loves to volunteer at her local theatre in Killeen, Texas.


Warren Rohling is a junior majoring in Philosophy with a minor in Psychology. Warren is a father to a 3-year-old daughter and his life ambition is helping her become smart, compassionate, kind and hard-working. Warren works full time in addition to being a student and father.


Elektra Jordan just graduated with her degree in Philosophy in Political Science. With a 4.0 GPA, Elektra was dedicated to her schoolwork. She was the student editor for the Texas Philosophical and managing editor for the Texas State Undergraduate Research Journal. Outside of her schoolwork, Elektra was the lead tutor for Student Support Services/TRiO Office. She was named Outstanding Undergraduate Student by the Department of Philosophy and received TXST’s Service and Leadership Institute’s Medal of Hope.


Simren Pokhrel is majoring in Civil Engineering because it combines her passions of design, creativity, science, and math. She is involved in undergraduate research about building more sustainably, the Society of Women Engineers, the TXST Sirens, Women in Business, HLsamp, Honor’s college, design sprints, and the Stelos Scholars. She is also treasurer for the Society for Space Exploration where they are building and launching a satellite. Read her full profile here.
