Student Profile: Walter Arimokwu
Meet Walter Arimokwu! Walter is one of our 2022 Stelos Leaders Scholarship winners and a recipient of Emergency Funds from the Stelos Alliance. You might recognize Walter from last year as the 2021 Thomas Dugan Raffen Memorial Scholarship winner.
Walter graduated this fall from Texas State with a major in Accounting and Finance. Walter was a Texas State McCoy Ambassador, member of the Student Alumni Council and Beta Upsilon Chi Fraternity. He received several scholarships including Texas State Star Scholars Scholarship, Nesenholtz Scholarship, Mitchell and Pamela Willis-Ward Scholarship.
Walter is an extraordinary young man with many accomplishments and accolades. However, what makes Walter exceptional is he has Autism Spectrum Disorder. Showing that the only thing that limits us is what is in our own mind. Walter is an inspiration to many, and he plans to start a scholarship for people with ASD.
