Bobcat Bucket List #39

Bobcat Bucket List #39 : Attend Cat Camp

You’ve been to orientation, but have you been to Cat Camp? For new students, Cat Camp is an extended orientation filled with campus pride and traditions. It’s student led and run, so you’ll get to hear about the Texas State experience from current students.

Like the name suggests, Cat Camp is similar to a short summer camp. You’ll be split into teams, learn chants, and break out into discussion groups.

Cat Camp lasts three days and two nights, and students will stay in Blanco Hall. The cost of the program is $200, but there is financial assistance available. Learn more here.
