Board Emeritus Member Q&A : Michael Flowers

Meet Michael Flowers, a dedicated individual with a diverse range of experiences and a strong commitment to community development. As the Vice President of Development at Jackson Shaw, he plays a key role in driving the company's growth and success. 

Outside of his professional responsibilities, he mentors young athletes, coaching a youth baseball team and volunteering at Woodrow Wilson High School. His community engagement extends to his role as Chair of the Carry The Load Scholarship Board and active participation in East Dallas initiatives. 

A former U.S. Marine Corps veteran with two tours in Iraq, Michael's dedication extends to championing veteran causes. He further supports Woodrow Wilson High School through fundraising and booster efforts, impacting student athletes. 

Michael is the founder of the Carry The Load Scholarship.

“Off duty, I enjoy saltwater fly fishing, duck hunting with my dog Piper, and riding dirt bikes. An outdoor enthusiast, sports lover, and former Phi Delta Theta member at Texas State, I continue to be shaped by these experiences. I currently reside in Lakewood, Dallas.”
