Student Profile: Mahogany Green

Originally from Houston, Mahogany enrolled in Texas State as a political science major. Now as a junior, she has three additional minors including one in the honors college.

Mahogany had to learn to be adaptable over the last year while working as a residence hall events leader. 

She says despite the pandemic, students still want ways to connect. She found innovative ways for them to do this like writing letters to thank health center employees. Mahogany also helps with leadership training in the Residence Hall Association and NRHH.

Mahogany is ambitious and has plans to either become a paralegal or go to law school. She wants to found a non-profit teaching STEM with her sister.
