Student Spotlight: Alexis Gonzales

Alexis Gonzales is this year’s recipient of the Virginia Moore Chi-Omega Scholarship.

Alexis is a pre-dental major at Texas State and will be heading off to dental school in the next year. As a member of Chi-Omega, she serves on the community service team and the academic team.

While on the community service team she helped manage all the community service hours and helped find volunteer opportunities for the chapter. On the academic team she tracks chapters study and organizes the study events. In the fall, Alexis hopes to be a sisterhood support leader for the new members.

After graduation, Alexis plans on entering dental school followed by a two-year residency program for Pediatric Dentistry. One day she hopes to own a private practice in the Austin area and host free dental care clinics to help serve the lower income areas.
