Lebens young Female ENTREPRENEUR Award

History of the Scholarship

This scholarship was developed in 2023 by Cortney Lebens, one of Stelos Alliance’s Board Members!

She has been lucky to have had incredible mentors throughout her life that have propelled her in her career, and she hopes to do the same for others.

This scholarship is awarded to an inspiring female student at Texas State University who has exhibited entrepreneurial characteristics while attending the University. This award will go to a student who has launched a business (no matter how small) or has a business plan that they are going to launch.

The scholarship is supported by Cortney Lebens, Co-Founder and CEO at Muy’Ono Resorts, Delicious Digital Marketing, Blurred Vines, and Live Large Fit Studios. Cortney has a passion for providing opportunities for talented young professionals to grow both personally and professionally, especially young females.

Eligibility Requirements

Female
Applicant must be enrolled 12 hours or more at Texas State at the time of selection and considered a full-time student.
The recipient will be in good standing with the University at the time of selection.
Student must have launched a business (no matter how small) or has a plan to launch a business.
Student must complete the application and attach a copy of a resume and a 500 maximum word essay explaining their current business or business idea. Include in the essay why you chose the business and why you are passionate about it. If you have already completed a business plan, attach a PDF version of that instead of essay. A complete business plan is NOT required to apply.

The Scholarship shall be presented annually at the Stelos Alliance Scholarship Awards Banquet. The time and place are to be determined by Stelos Alliance but will be in San Marcos, TX.
