Catalyst Award for Women in STEM
History of the Scholarship
In 2023, Shelby Galvin, a Texas State 2014 graduate, decided to give back to her Texas State community by supporting a scholarship for women in STEM.
Shelby has a passion for “fintech”, which is a combination of finance and technology. She wants to help women become leaders in this field.
The Catalyst Award for Women in STEM aims to empower and support aspiring female leaders by providing financial assistance and fostering an inclusive community. We believe in the transformative power of diverse perspectives to drive innovation and progress in the STEM fields.
