Bobcat Bucket List #62: Cheer on the Bobcats at a Basketball Game

As a part of the Sun Belt Conference, Texas State basketball plays against 13 other teams including Georgia State, South Alabama, and Old Dominion. In 2023, men’s basketball finished 11th in the conference, and the women’s team advanced and will be playing the Championship Game.

The student section brims with excited students ready to watch the Bobcats play and catch free t-shirts. Students get to take half-court shots to compete for free tuition during half time, and this year a student made it and won!

In addition to watching the game, you’ll get to see the Strutters perform. The tickets are free for students with valid IDs.
