Bobcat Bucket List #32 : Run Up the Alkek Stairs

Rumor has it, Texas State students have some of the best calves in the country due to their daily climbs up the 46 Alkek Library stairs.

The Albert B. Alkek Library is Texas State’s main library and meeting place on campus. They have events, workshops, study rooms, and of course plenty of books. All of these events come with a price : a walk up the many steep stairs usually with a backpack in tow.

If you’ve ever been late to an event or class at the library, you’ve probably already completed this Bobcat Bucket List item. If not, put on your running shoes and get ready to burn some calories!
