Bobcat Bucket List #33 : Take a Class at Silo Gallery & Glass Studio

Drive about 10 minutes from campus toward Wimberley, and you'll find the unique Silo Gallery & Glass Studio.

Like the name suggests, this glass fusing studio is housed inside a giant silo and is the largest of its kind in Central Texas.

This quiet getaway from campus is the perfect place to take a class with friends or a special someone. They have beginner classes, advanced classes, team building events, and an open studio space. You’ll get something to take home afterwards, and you can buy work from local makers in the gallery.

If a class isn’t your style, you can take a tour of the 4,000 sqft space and learn about the glass fusing process. Plus, the studio has a secret outdoor grotto with a waterfall and koi fish.

After your class and tour, walk across the street to Middleton Brewing company for a beer and some food!
