Student Profile: Sumudu Fernando
Meet Sumudu Fernando, one of our 2022 Stelos Leaders Scholarship recipients. Sumudu is studying Psychology with a concentration in Pre-Med.
Sumudu grew up in Sri Lanka and often played “pretend” as the doctor as a child. Now, she’s on her way to Medical school! At Texas State, Sumudu is a PACE Peer Mentor and is taking courses in Medical Assistance. She’s looking forward to giving back to her community as a Doctor one day!
