The Housley Outstanding Female Scholarship recognizes the top female student from the HON
3397J course, taught each fall at Texas State University by Bill Poston, supporting a future
female leader.
The Hall Family Scholarship honors the legacy of James and Mildred Hall by supporting a first
generation student at Texas State University.
Carry The Load is a non-profit organization that exists to preserve the sanctity of Memorial Day through community gatherings and storytelling.
The Bill Hogue Memorial Scholarship was established under the direction of Bill Poston following Hogue’s tragic death, which came just six weeks after his graduation from Texas State University in December 1987.
