Bobcat Bucket List #53: Tailgate Before a Home Game

Cornhole is a favorite tailgating activity.

Before every home football game, the tailgate lots fill with RVs, tents, and tables of food. Students and alumni come hours early to grab food, drinks, and to get excited about the game.

Just like any other university, tailgating at Texas State is no joke. Be prepared for crowds, plenty of food, and lots of giveaways. Even if you aren’t throwing your own tailgate, many are happy to treat walk-ups like part of the family.

Don’t forget your sunglasses, sunscreen and water!
