Bobcat Bucket List #35: Attend a Sporting Event

With the student section full of energy and anticipation, there’s never a dull moment when you’re attending a Bobcat game. Between the cheerleaders, band, and Boko, every sporting event is the perfect place to let loose and cheer on your favorite college team!

At all of our sporting events, you’ll never feel a lack of energy from our teams or fans. Our #bobcatpride runs deep! It’s always a great day to be a bobcat🐾

Texas State Bobcats bring the heat in every single basketball game they play, especially when they’re playing at their own home - Strahan Arena. Head coach Terrance Johnson led the TXST men’s basketball team to a 21-win season and the Sun Belt Conference Championship.

Bump, set, spike! Our TXST Volleyball bobcats, led by head coach, Sean Huiet waste no time showing the opposing team who’s boss with their fiery jump serves & unwavering teamwork. They’ve won four consecutive Sun Belt Conference Championships and are gearing up for another great one starting this fall!

Led by head coach, Rocco Woodard, our women’s softball team has won a whopping 24 games so far this season, and this is only the beginning. With only eleven more games until the Sun Belt Conference Tournament, we’ll be cheering our bobcats on to victory!
