Bobcat Bucket List #99: Attend Commencement and Graduation

If you’ve made it this far, you’re probably ready for graduation! Located in Strahan Arena, these large events are a way for family and friends to celebrate graduates.

The graduation ceremony marks the completion of your degree requirements, and commencement celebrates that accomplishment and looks forward to the future. Once you qualify, you can attend these events in-person or watch on livestream.

Students will do the classic graduation requirements such as renting a cap and gown, registering that they’ll be at the ceremony, and taking photos to celebrate the big day. The University has their own photographers, so you can get that classic cap and gown photo to commemorate the day.

Graduation ceremonies happen at the end of each semester in May, August, and December. Learn more about the ceremony here.
