Bobcat Bucketlist #46: Grab Coffee in the Student Center

The LBJ Student Center is Texas State’s hub for on-campus activity, and there’s never a dull moment inside! The most popular spot is the Starbucks where students line up to caffeinate in between classes.

Inside the LBJSC, you’ll find a ton of campus resources like the Student Involvement Desk, Counseling Center, Career Services, Attorney for Student, and the Office of Disability Services. You’ll also find some campus hotspots like the Multicultural Lounge on the second floor and our student lounge, George’s (named after famous alumni George Straight) on the first floor.

The student center doubles as a dining hall with many lunch options including Chick-fil-a, Tu Taco, Mondo’s Subs, and Burger 512. Before you leave, head to the LBJ Marketplace for some snacks to keep you satisfied during the rest of your day.
