Ainsley Svitenko

Ainsley Svitenko is a junior majoring in Marketing from Katy, Texas, whose passion for creativity, connection, and global impact shines through both her academic and professional pursuits at Texas State. Drawn to the university by its beautiful campus and the strong opportunities within her major, Ainsley quickly found a place where she could grow both personally and professionally.

One of Ainsley’s most meaningful involvements on campus is with Stelos Alliance, a Austin based nonprofit dedicated to helping students connect with scholarships and develop as leaders within their communities. Serving as a marketing fellow, Ainsley has gained hands-on experience in the marketing world while strengthening her skills in networking and communication. She especially values the relationships she has built through the organization, noting that the experience has helped her feel more connected to Texas State and its student body. Looking ahead, Ainsley hopes to see Stelos Alliance continue to grow and create even more scholarship opportunities for Texas State students.

Outside of campus involvement, Ainsley balances a busy schedule as a manager at a San Marcos local Mexican restaurant, Garcia’s, where she has further developed leadership, responsibility, and people-management skills. Academically, her dedication is clear as she has earned a spot on the Dean’s List for five consecutive semesters, a reflection of her perseverance and strong work ethic.

Family plays a central role in Ainsley’s motivation. She credits her parents’ constant encouragement and unwavering support as a driving force behind her success, inspiring her to pursue her goals with confidence. Through her coursework, she has sharpened key skills such as communication, time management, and balance, tools she knows will serve her well beyond graduation.

After earning her degree from Texas State, Ainsley plans to step directly into the marketing world. She dreams of becoming an international marketing ambassador, combining her career with her love for travel and global experiences. One of her biggest goals is to continue traveling abroad, immersing herself in different cultures and perspectives.

Those around Ainsley often describe her as motivated, loving, outgoing, hardworking, energetic, and charismatic. A fun fact that perfectly captures her global mindset: she lived abroad in Amsterdam as a child, an experience that gave her a unique worldview and helped shape who she is today.

With her ambition, warmth, and drive, Ainsley Svitenko exemplifies the spirit of a Texas State student, one who is ready to make an impact both locally and around the world.
