Open Penny Founders Table

Building the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs

Founded through discussions with the Center for Student Entrepreneurship (CSE), Open Penny Founders Table, created by Randy Haran, provides a bridge to entrepreneurship problems through a structured peer-learning environment. Inspired by Haran’s longstanding involvement with the Entrepreneur Organization (EO), the program incorporates many of his entrepreneurial experiences while adhering to the organization’s proven principles for fostering entrepreneurial growth, collaboration, and leadership.

Through bimonthly (twice-a-month) meetings, accountability systems, business planning workshops, and founder-to-founder knowledge sharing, students gain practical entrepreneurial experience while building meaningful professional and personal relationships.

The Pay It Forward Philosophy

The OPFT is built on a culture of giving back. Students who benefit from the program are encouraged to support future founders through:

  • Business cash-flow contributions
  • Volunteer service hours
  • Sponsorship through their business or personally

This creates a lasting cycle of mentorship and entrepreneurial support.
