Drink on the Patio at Zelick’s Icehouse
If you’re an older TXST alumni, you probably don’t know of Zelick’s Icehouse. Opened in 2011, this patio bar is a unique, hipster spot to get out of the heat and sip on a margarita.
While the bar itself has only been operating for 10 years, the building has history dating back to the 1930’s. You can still see when you walk into Zelick’s garage-style building that it was formerly a gas station. They even have old framed photos from when the gas station first opened!
The patio area has a full bar, pool table and plenty of outdoor seating with water features. If you’re hungry, they have a food truck with burgers, tacos, sandwiches and more. Try one of their classic margaritas and check this off your Bobcat Bucket List!
