80 gather for Stelos Alliance Awards banquet to honor students and business leaders

SAN MARCOS, Texas – over 80 people gathered on the evening of Sunday, April 29th for the Stelos Alliance Awards banquet. The Stelos Alliance, a non-profit scholarship organization with the mission of helping extraordinary young people reach their potential, awarded over $17,000 in scholarships to thirteen Texas State University students.

In addition to recognizing student leaders, four business leaders were honored with the inaugural Stelos Alliance Award. The Stelos Alliance Award was created to honor individuals and organizations that assist dynamic young leaders by providing scholarships, fellowships and internships to recruit, utilize, mentor and grow promising young people into the principled leaders of tomorrow.
