Bill Poston

Bill Poston is the Founder/President of the Stelos Alliance (SA). He created the Principled Leadership Institute at the postsecondary level, after two decades of studying and applying the techniques in his own life. Bill is also a founding partner of Kalypso, where his ethics and leadership skills helped him build a successful and highly respected consulting firm in just five short years.

Bill Poston is a sought-after thought leader focusing on the transformation of organizations to deliver on the promise of innovation. He is a recognized expert in innovation strategy, product development, lifecycle management, portfolio management, technology commercialization, leadership alignment and organizational change. Bill has appeared in many national publications and lectured at seminars, conferences and events across multiple technology-driven industries. He has spent 20 years inside America’s top companies applying innovative solutions. At the same time, he has studied the effects of ethics and leadership principles (or lack thereof) on corporate profitability. That real world knowledge, along with proven leadership training, makes up the novel curriculum used in the Principled Leadership Institute.

Bill believes in the philosophy of “doing well by doing good.” In addition to the Stelos Alliance, Bill is a member of the Texas State University Development Foundation Board of Directors. He also serves the University on the Academic Excellence committee and as Chairman of the Student Foundation Alumni Advisory Board. Bill is a recent recipient of the University’s Alumni Star Award. Bill received an MBA from the University of Texas and a BBA from Texas State University.
